Default Adjustments to Beast Mastery

I would love to play a druid type ranger (I currently play a ranger/mes) for PvP. But I'm hesitant because of the poor reviews that I've read on the profession. I've also experienced first hand the attack potential of pets. It is deplorable. I suggest the following "tweaks" for this class:

1. increase the base attack speed of pets. i don't know if it's me or my char build but pets just attack way too slow.
2. all lunge attacks should have knockdown as part of the attack. nothing gets attention quicker than if you're knocked down in addition to suffering damage.
3. i don't know if it's a bug but i've never been the victim of bleeding by any pet.
4. add a poison bite that lasts as long as poison arrow - 15 seconds.
5. increase the armor of pets. my god they die faster than a noob player.
6. pets should be relentless, like henchies. they should dog you all around the battlefield.
7. give more control options to pets, like retreat and stand ground.

I think there would be some great battles if pets reached their potential. it would be so cool to see them in tombs (i've never seen any). kind of a Hannibalistic experience.

1. They have a 2 second attack rate, but you can have Call of Haste on the pet AT ALL TIMES to decrease that to 1.75.
2. Overpowered
3. My pet makes others bleed. Mabey your just facing a crappy Beastmaster who brings a pet but no skills for it?
4. Never seen a poisonous wolf... but ok.
5. I agree with this, I guess, but my pet stays alive for a damn long time.
6. OK
7. Agreed

7. On control pet: is there anyway I could order it to attack a foe and meanwhile I attack another one? Maybe I miss a key combo, but I tend to attack many foes helping my teammates and I found my pet running around not doing much.

Pets have plenty of uses. It's just that many people don't know how to use them. Have a look here . This was taken a few nights ago.
Why are the skills whited out? You'll be seeing this build in the tombs soon. We've already got peeps in the random arena trying to copy us.

Honestly, there are only a few actual pet skills and many of the attacks are preferance. Everything else just depends on if you want to be pure beastmastery or not. I don't think there is a real 'secret' Also, ferocious strike is leet

Um... I think they are just running a regular pet build for everyone, seeing as how they have varied secondaries (one has no secondary at all). Coarse' there are spirits iin this build, too (I can see Nature's Renewal at the edge of the screen).

There's also a stack of ~3 of them by the resurrect shrine. I'm guessing quickening zephyr, predatory season, maybe greater conflag (considering drakescale is being worn) or winnowing. Note that predatory season heals you whenever your pet hits. The combination of renewal and predatory is pretty bad news for the classic monk-based team build. Toss in debilitating shot with quickening zephyr and you've got an empty monk while your team takes out whoever they want.

Heh. Yes we're using spirts. And zeph and natures are some of our favorites (Though we run edge of extinction and Natures renewal in tombs all the time.)
Oddly though in this articular instance we wern't using comfort animal, revive animal OR ferioucs strike .
And I just can't keep this secret anymore. One of our ranger/warriors in that buld is weilding a hmmer, tigers fure and I will Avenge you. That son of a bitch was just waiting for either a pet or one of his teamates to die so he could let all hell break loese.
